To ensure that calendar items are syncing properly from Filevine to Outlook, please go through the following steps to reset it. We are recommending that you periodically take these steps as normal upkeep of the system (similar to routinely clearing your browser history).
STEP 1:
Remove Outlook Calendar Integration in Filevine. This option is under My Profile:
STEP 2:
Delete the Filevine Sync calendar from Outlook. Note that you need to right click on the Filevine Sync calendar and then choose Delete Calendar (it is not sufficient to just uncheck the box).
STEP 3:
Close Outlook and Refresh Filevine
STEP 4:
Go to the three menu dots on your internet browser:
If your default browser is Chrome, select Help and then About Google Chrome:
Let it run any updates and then once it is done “Relaunch” it:
If Microsoft Edge is your default browser go to Help and Feedback and then About Microsoft Edge:
Once it is done updating, click Restart:
STEP 5:
Re-Integrate Office 365 within Filevine:
STEP 6:
Re-select Filevine Sync calendar within Outlook.
You should then see items syncing to the sync calendar. Note: it is important that you not dismiss the syncing reminders that will pop up during this process. Let them run through until sync is completed.
**Remember, deadlines/events entered through the Filevine project will never appear in your main Outlook calendar. Those are only visible in your Filevine Sync calendar. However, personal or non-project specific meetings/events added to your main Outlook calendar will sync to your individual calendar within Filevine. Therefore, your Filevine calendar is the best source for seeing your entire calendar in one view.
Should you continue to experience issues with the sync, please reach out to the Help Desk.
