So you changed your password in the office, but it's not working on your laptop at home? This is the guide on how to update that password so that everything lines up and you don't have any issues with accessing things.


  1. Change/Update your password in the office, and restart your computer afterwards
    1. This just makes sure that everything is synced up with the new password
  2. When at home, log into the laptop using the old password
  3. Connect to the VPN
    1. Don't forget to make sure you have DUO setup. You will need it to access the VPN
  4. Once you are connected to the VPN, press Ctrl+Alt+Del on your keyboard
  5. Choose the "Lock" option
  6. Unlock/Log back into your laptop using the new password
  7. Then, reboot your laptop (Start -> Power -> Restart) 
  8. Then log in using the new password, and then reconnect to the VPN
