HOW TO ARM/DISARM THE ALARM AT INVERNESS

 

How to Disarm the Alarm if you are the first person in:

 

  1. Scan your access badge at this panel:
  2. Locate the Alarm Panel after entering the double doors:

  3. Input your code:
    • A close up of a device Description automatically generated
      •  ***Do not press any other button after inputting your code***

 

How to Arm the Alarm if you are the last person in the building:

 

  1. Check all the offices for anyone else
  2. Locate the Alarm Panel
  3. Input your code
    • Do not press any other buttons
  4. Exit through the front door within 15 seconds

 

Additional Notes:

 

  • If you are the first person in the office and you do not enter through the main entrance and disarm the alarm, it will trigger. 
  • The alarm is silent at first in order to alert the admins, so you won’t know it has been triggered until it has already been triggered for at least a minute.
  • You cannot arm the alarm if you leave through the secondary exit on the bottom floor by the loading dock. You must leave through the main entrance.
  • IT and Office Services have the ability to arm/disarm the alarms remotely.
